Pool Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you are relied upon to identify and resolve problems, communicate technical information to customers, oversee the duties of maintenance technicians and represent the company in a professional manner. This is a skilled technical job that requires a mechanical mindset who is excellent at problem solving. We are looking to hire at all levels junior to senior (includes training).

Essential functions:

• Maintain appointed swimming pools and spas.
• Participate in the cleaning and restoration of swimming pool, spa and water feature structures and associated sub systems.
• Troubleshoot & identify problems associated to swimming pools and spas. Includes equipment malfunction and chemistry irregularities. Formulate and communicate clearly how to resolve issues.
• Install new swimming pool and spa appliances (i.e. pumps, filters, heaters, etc.).
• Prepare proposals and estimates for review.
• Resolve problems with customers and employees in a diplomatic manner. Involves analyzing and relaying pertinent information in a clear and concise manner and upholding the professional reputation of the company.
• Provide superior customer service. Monitor and respond appropriately & timely to all company & client inquiries.
• Drive and maintain a company vehicle in a respectful and orderly manner.
• Document job details / requirements in a clear and concise manner using company software

Requirements:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Experience working in a mechanical field, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Ability to identify the true source of problems, formulating and communicating a plan to rectify the issue.
• Superior Customer Service: Experience in dealing with customers, communicating information and addressing their concerns and needs.
• Administration: Ability to utilize PC and mobile applications to document work and prepare proposals and estimates.

Position pays $25-$35/hr and comes with multiple benefits including, but not limited to, a corporate vehicle, cell phone, and the ability to advance into a managerial position if willing.
